ご挨拶

English Conversation Cafes in big cities like Tokyo or Osaka are working well as actual exercise places for the people studying English Conversation. But, we suppose that there are not a few people who have to hesitate or needs courage just to go into these places. Because we Japanese often to easily feel self-conscious when they talk with other people in English. Our club is a Dojo or Training Gymnasium for these people, especially who are bashful, get used to talk with foreigners or other Japanese in English. We would like to ask your join and help.

活動内容

Dates: On every Saturday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Membership: Free for foreigners (500Yen for each day for Japanese members)
Location: On the Third Floor of the Kimuraya-bldg, Crea Mall, 2-4-3, Shintomi-cho, Kawagoe City, Saitama Pref. (Near Kawagoe Sta. or Hon-Kawagoe Sta.)

Hyakuren-kan was established on December, 2009. The Director had retired from a Central Government Office in Tokyo in 2008. After that, he went to the New Zealand to teach Kendo and Iaido (Japanese martial arts) for New Zealanders. During stay in NZ, he went to the EF International Language School to study English. But in his staying in NZ, he earnestly worked only by himself about returning to Japan a real Zero Fighter in the World War II which has been exhibiting in completely undamaged in Auckland Museum. Like this, he is not like anyone else!
